Health Unit Clerks manage all non-clinical tasks on hospital nursing units, making them essential members of the health care team. Responsibilities include transcribing physicians' orders for patient treatment, preparing patient charts, maintaining statistical reports, dealing with visitors and much more. It is no surprise that the Health Unit Clerk's role has been called one of the most important positions on the nursing unit. Please see the program website for detailed course descriptions. |
